Stephen has always had a passion for shooting, and using Springer Spaniels has added immeasurable pleasure to the experience. The dogs absolutely love it as well!     It is this remarkable symbiosis between us and our dogs that has inspired him to try to capture some of these memorable moments in his Game Shooting series of foundry cast bronzes.

From his experience of these and other dogs has come the Trilogy 'Man with Springer' shown below, and a single sculpture 'Lady with Labrador'. For further images and details of these and of the individual dogs see the Bronze shooting Gallery page.  

Stephen has also extended his range of sculptures to other aspects of the countryside to include a Shepherd at lambing time, another training a sheepdog, and the first four of a series of old country characters. Images of these are shown on the Bronze Countryside Gallery page. As a less expensive alternative to hot cast bronze these are also available in cold cast bronze resin.

Stephen also undertakes, after extensive consultation, bespoke hot cast bronze commissions - each a unique piece of art in its own right. An example of a completed commission is shown at the end of the commissions page.
